In 2016 proptech platform Buzzmove secured £6m in a seed funding round led by White Mountains Insurance Group.
Buzzmove operates as a price comparison and immediate reservation platform for shifting-related services in the United Kingdom.
It allows its users to find services related to moving houses, offices, furniture, etc. The platform matches its users’ requirements with suitable removal services companies by requesting them to provide information about the things or places they want to shift. This helps its users get quotes from several removal services providers, connect with the companies of their choice, and easily make online reservations. Buzzmove charges its users a fee of 13% as commission on all removal bookings made through the platform.
Buzzmove initially presented to Enterprise 100 in 2014 which enabled the company to secure its second round of funding.
